First time visiting RAW in Redding. We arrived early to take advantage of happy hour, on a Saturday. The decor and atmosphere were very nice and inviting. We were seated quickly and provided with drink and dinner menus. We were seated in the bar area, so the bartender ended up being our server as well. He answered some questions for us and we ordered drinks. After bringing the drinks, he pointed out the happy hour menu for us, which we had missed. After some consideration, we ordered from the happy hour menu, taking a couple suggestions from the bartender into mind. We didn't have to wait long to start receiving our orders. We ordered 4 types of rolls and the street tacos, along with edamame. Wow! Very good. Good flavors and decent portion sizes, especially coming from the happy hour menu. And the price... Great (in my opinion). There was three in our party, one celebrating a birthday, and we all agreed we had a great experience. Our bartender/server was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the food was great. Wonderful first visit.
This was a treat from my supervisor and it was really good. Prices are reasonable considering it is seafood I had the tsunami roll and it was perfect and filling. Going back for happy hour and the night life Saturday evening. Nicest place I’ve been to in this area. Really upscale and classy. Service was perfect and knowledgeable
We had a company lunch here this week. The large banquet room was lovely with a very unique table with 100 year old tree under glass.The service was adequate for a group, the food was excellent. I had the "Cherry Blossom" sushi.
